Dola Shepherd opened Wentzville House of Beauty on March 1, 1965. Dola retired from the salon in 2003 and her daughter, Debby Bechtold, has run the salon ever since. The original location was at 111 West Pearce Boulevard. In 2007, The salon moved to its current location in the blue house. It is known for its small town, quaint atmosphere, and shabby chic vibes.
